Who is this training workshop aimed at? 

​Whilst this training workshop is suitable for anyone, it's particularly useful for non-LGBTQ+ people as it's focused on how to best support your LGBTQ+ colleagues, family members or friends. It's aimed at people who are keen to to increase their knowledge and understanding of sexual and gender minority people, and willing to make changes in their everyday lives to become more supportive and engaged with the LGBTQ+ community. 

What are the main takeaways from this training workshop?

​Following the completion of this training workshop, participants will be well equipped on how to be a supportive colleague, friend, ally, parent, child or sibling to the LGBTQ+ people in their lives. They will feel comfortable and confident in using inclusive language, terminology and pronouns, and have gained a sound understanding of appropriate code of conduct in the workplace. Parents to LGBTQ+ kids will also bet better equipped to support their children through their sexual and/or gender minority identity development.

60min Training

60min training session consisting of 40min presentation with interactive elements, followed by 20min Q&A 

For small to medium group sizes

90min training session consisting of 2 40min workshop sessions mixing presentation, group discussions and activities, followed by 10min Q&A 

For small to medium group sizes
